Kästorf is a district of Wolfsburg in Lower Saxony in the north of the city, between the B 188 and the Aller, in close proximity to the Volkswagen factory as well as Wolfsburg Castle.
Kästorf was first documented in 1135 as Kestorp. The village is located in the historical landscape of the Vorsfelder Werders. The original village form was that of a Slavic round village.
