Dransdorf is a district in the northwest of the federal city of Bonn with around 5,000 inhabitants. It belongs to the Bonn city district.
Dransdorf is located about four kilometers from the city center. Adjacent are the Bonn districts of Tannenbusch to the north, Weststadt to the northeast, Endenich to the southeast, and Lessenich/Meßdorf to the south, as well as the municipality of Alfter to the west. The majority of Dransdorf lies relatively low, corresponding to the districts located towards the Rhine. Towards Meßdorf, the terrain rises steeply with the Dransdorfer Berg. Above it spreads the Meßdorfer Feld.
