Fürstenberg Castle is a three-winged Baroque building decorated in the Rococo style located in the town of Fürstenberg/Havel in Brandenburg. It is located on an island north of the old city center under the name of Mühlenkamp. It was built between 1741 and 1752 as the widowed residence of the Duchess of Mecklenburg Dorothea Sophie.
Fürstenberg Castle was built as a massive two-storey building, plastered with a gable roof. The spacious floor plan is based on the design of Mirow Castle. The side wings of the horseshoe-shaped complex enclose a courtyard of honour about 20 metres long and wide. The three-storey central building is divided by smooth pilasters and decorated with fine stucco in the Rococo shapes. In the last baroque gable, you can see the coat of arms of Mecklenburg and the Danish Order of the Elephant.
