Built between 1375 - 1450. A hall church, which is a Gothic church where the nave is as high as the side aisles.
In 1536, the bodies of three executed leaders of the Anabaptists were hung here, visible through the three cages above the clock's dial. The skeletons were visible until 1881.
The church also houses the 'highest working room' of Münster, namely that of the tower guard. A 'Türmer' is mentioned in the records for the first time in 1481. After several interruptions, Münster has had a 'Türmer' again since 1950, whose horn can be heard from 9 PM to midnight (every half hour), except on Tuesdays.
