Gebouwd tussen 1375 - 1450. Een hallenkerk, dat is een gotische kerk waarbij het middenschip even hoog is als de zijschepen.
In 1536 hing men hier de lijken op van drie ter dood gebrachte leiders van de wederdopers, te zien door de drie kooien boven de wijzerplaat van de klok. De skeletten zijn tot 1881 zichtbaar geweest.
De kerk herbergt ook de 'hoogste werkkamer' van Münster en wel die van de torenwachter. In 1481 wordt voor het eerst een 'Türmer' in de oorkonden vermeld. Na meerdere onderbrekingen heeft Münster sinds 1950 weer een 'Türmer' wiens blaashoorn van 21.00 tot 24.00 uur (ieder half uur) weer te horen is, behalve op dinsdag.
