The Benedictine Abbey of Grafschaft was founded in 1072 at the foot of the Wilzenberg by Anno II. The statue of the founder can still be seen at the western entrance. The style of the abbey, after many renovations, is now Rococo. At this time, the abbey is in the hands of a Sister Order.
