Above the long extended valley near the abbey Kloster Grafschaft, you hear sounds coming from the sound sculpture "Above the Ponds." It is a set of copper tubes constructed by the artist Andreas Oldörp according to the principle of organ pipes. Andreas Oldörp studied art and philosophy in Hamburg. In 1988, his "Singing Flames" first captured the attention of the general public. The artist lives in Hamburg and is one of the most interesting composers of sound art.
