Above the long-drawn valley by the Abbey of Grafschaft, one hears the sounds that come from the sound sculpture "Öben die Teichen." It is a set of copper pipes that the artist Andreas Oldörp constructed based on the principle of organ pipes. Andreas Oldörp studied art and philosophy in Hamburg. In 1988, "Singing Flames" drew public attention for the first time. The artist lives in Hamburg and is one of the most interesting composers in Germany.
