St. Simon and Judas is a neo-Gothic Roman Catholic parish church in Hennef. The current church was built between 1898 and 1900 in the centre of the old district of Hennef, the Hennef "old town", on Kirchstraße. On 29 October 2006, on the initiative of the parish council, the forecourt of the church was given the name Karol-Wojtyla-Platz in memory of the late Polish Pope John Paul II on the initiative of the parish council after a decision by the city council.
