The Kolumbussee is a lake northeast of the village of Plötzky in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. North of the lake lies the town of Gommern.
The lake, surrounded by forest, was formed as a result of the mining of quartzite rock. In 1932, however, mining was stopped. The lake, which is located in the district of Plötzky, reaches a depth of up to 30 metres and has a surface area of about 10,000 m². In the vicinity of the lake, a local recreation area has been created, which is mainly characterized by long-term camping and arbor properties.
