The Kernen, at 512.7 m above sea level, is the second highest mountain of the Schurwald in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, and at the same time the highest point of the city of Fellbach.
The forested Kernen is located in the southwest of the Rems-Murr district in the far west of the Schurwald. It rises about 2.5 km south-southwest of Rommelshausen, just under 2.5 km west-southwest of Stetten, around 4.5 km north of Esslingen, approximately 2.5 km east-northeast of the Stuttgart district of Uhlbach, and about 3.5 km southeast of Fellbach. Several hiking trails lead to its summit.
