The boxwood forest near Grenzach is a nature reserve consisting of four sections in Grenzach-Wyhlen, district of Lörrach, in the southwestern part of Baden-Württemberg. Until its large-scale die-off around 2007, it was one of the oldest, as well as the last and largest wild locations of evergreen boxwood in Germany. Nowhere else in Germany did boxwood form such dense and extensive stands, reaching up to four meters in height.
