The Kröpcke subway station is the most important subway station of the Hanover light rail. It is named after the central square in the Hanover pedestrian zone, Kröpcke, located in the Mitte district. Here, the A, B, and C lines of the light rail intersect. Trains from lines 1 to 9 and 11, as well as the night bus line 10 and the demand lines 16 and 18, stop at six platforms. About 150,000 people get on or off here daily.
