The Kalbe near Vockerode in the northern Hesse Werra-Meißner district is a basalt hill that rises 719.5 m above sea level.
The Kalbe rises in the northeastern part of northern Hesse, in the east of the massive Hoher Meißner in the Geo-Nature Park Frau-Holle-Land. Its summit is located about 2.3 km west-northwest of Vockerode, which, as a district of Meißner, lies about 430 m lower than the Kalbe summit at an average height of 290 m, and approximately 400 m south-southeast of the Frau-Holle pond. East below the Kalbe lies the ice spring.
