The Schliersbergbahn is a gondola lift with two cabins for ten people each and runs from Schliersee to the Schliersbergalm, located at an altitude of 1,061 m. At the top, there is a hotel and a restaurant as well as some recreational facilities.
The lift was built in 1951 as a feeder to the hotel and, with a length of 725 m, overcomes a height difference of 230 m. In 1996, the lift was completely renewed by the company Waagner Biro. The six support towers of the old lift were replaced by three new supports.
