The Gustav Wegner Stadium is located in the Lower Saxony city of Northeim and is the home ground of Eintracht Northeim. Built in 1932 and named after the German athlete Gustav Wegner, the stadium was completed in 1935 and renovated in 1995. It offers space for 3,500 spectators and has 500 covered seats.
On 1 March 1932, a lease agreement was concluded between the "Club Spiel und Sport Northeim" and Rhumemühle AG. The lease amount was 400 Reichsmarks per year and the contract period was until 1 March 1950.On 9 October 1932, the "Mühlenkamp" sports field was inaugurated with the game "SpVgg Kassel - SuS Northeim". On November 10, 1933, the lease was transferred to the "Northeimer Sportclub e.V.". In the summer of 1935, new stands were inaugurated with the match for the Tschammer Cup between "SC Northeim" and "Arminia Hannover". On February 26, 1936, the lease was transferred to the city of Northeim. In 1950, the lease agreement between Rhumemühle AG and the city of Northeim was renewed. On the occasion of the 10th Gustav Wegner Commemorative Competitions in 1956, it was renamed the "Gustav Wegner Arena".
