The Auetal Bridge is a twin-track railway overpass of the high-speed line Hanover–Würzburg at track kilometer 64.4 and, at 1056 meters, it is the longest bridge of the northern section of the route.
The beam bridge is located southeast of Kreiensen and spans the valley of the Aue, a 19-kilometer-long tributary of the Leine, the federal road 592 from Kreiensen-Billerbeck to Kalefeld, the railway line Osterode–Kreiensen, as well as a farm road. The track is at a height of up to 38 meters above the valley floor.
