Hueth Castle, formerly possibly also Bruckhuet, is the remnant of a historic moated castle located about 1.5 kilometers north of Bienen in Rees in the district of Kleve, North Rhine-Westphalia.
The first castle was built in the 14th century as a medieval defensive work by the knights of Hekeren and was a fief of the Electorate of Cologne. Around the beginning of the 15th century, the castle passed to the Wylich family, who lived in it for more than three centuries. In the 17th century it was converted into a castle and in the first half of the 18th century it was sold to Friedrich Wilhelm von Borcke. This family converted it into a country house in the Rococo style. In the 19th century, Hueth Castle came into the possession of the Wittenhorst-Sonsfeld family through marriage and succession. The architectural monument is used as a family home with suites for holiday guests. The castle is privately owned and can only be visited from the 'Alter Deichweg' road.
