The District Court of Minden is a court of ordinary jurisdiction located in the East Westphalian city of Minden. It is housed together with the Administrative Court of Minden and the Labor Court of Minden in the court center at Königswall in the western city center.
The District Court of Minden is responsible for the 80,000 residents of the city of Minden, the 26,000 residents of the city of Petershagen, the 36,000 residents of the city of Porta Westfalica, and the 16,000 residents of the municipality of Hille, thus serving a total of 158,000 residents in the Minden-Lübbecke district. It is one of ten district courts in the Bielefeld regional court district.
