The German-French Garden is a landscape park in Saarbrücken with a range of recreational facilities. It serves as a local recreation area.
The park is located on the southwestern edge of Saarbrücken near the German-French border crossing Goldene Bremm. It covers an area of about 50 hectares. The park is within walking distance from Old Saarbrücken. It can also be reached by bicycle, as well as by various bus lines that service the stops DFG Nord and DFG Süd. From the center of Saarbrücken, it can be reached in about ten minutes by car, and it can be reached in the same time from the nearby French metropolitan area of Forbach-Stiring-Wendel. The DFG can be accessed by car from the southwest via the European road 50, which is formed on the German side by the A6 motorway and on the French side by the A320 motorway.
