The Ludwigsthal cemetery, formerly known as the cemetery "An der Plantage," is a small cemetery in the Neunkirchen district of Ludwigsthal.
The Ludwigsthal cemetery was established in 1876 as the cemetery "An der Plantage." The name derived from the local place name, as the area was called "Plantage" until 1884, a term still used in the speech of the people of Neunkirchen today. It was a communal cemetery. Until its inauguration, Protestants were buried in the cemetery of Limbach and Catholics in Niederbexbach.
