The Valme is a 19.7 km long, left tributary of the Ruhr in the Hochsauerlandkreis district of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
The Valme rises above the Nasse Wiese on the northern flank of the Hunau at an altitude of 775 m above sea level. From here it flows primarily to the north, passing the villages of Obervalme, Werdern, Ramsbeck and Heringhausen, before flowing into the Ruhr on the left side in Bestwig at 291 m above sea level.
