The Eduard Pape Monument was a monument in honour of Heinrich Eduard von Pape. The monument stood on the market square in Brilon opposite the historic town hall.
The monument was erected in 1899. Not the people of Brilon, but mainly scientists, civil servants, lawyers and scholars from the Reich called for the monument to be erected. The costs amounted to 30,000 marks. Donations were received from a number of Reich, state and municipal authorities as well as from numerous private individuals. The Imperial Chancellor Prince Chlodwig zu Hohenlohe-Schillingsfürst and Emperor Wilhelm II also made a donation to the city.
