The Drübel nature reserve with a size of 9.27 ha is located in Brilon. The Drübel was designated as a landscape conservation area as early as 1938 with the Ammertenbühl area. In 1958 it was designated as a nature reserve. In 2008, the area was again designated as an NSG by the Hochsauerland district with the Brilon Plateau Landscape Plan.
