The Bilstein is a 622 m high mountain in the Brilon Heights in the central east of North Rhine-Westphalia .
The mountain is located about 4 km east of Brilon on the southern edge of the Brilon Heights, of which it is probably the second highest elevation. At its foot flows the Hoppecke, in whose valley Brilon-Hoppecke lies southeast of the mountain.
