The Heidesee is a 5.2-hectare nature reserve southeast of Coesfeld in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The centre of the area is a shallow heath pond of the same name, which is surrounded by broken forest and open heathland. The origin of the body of water dates back to the last ice age. It is assumed that the depression of the Heidesee is a blown-out drifting sand cover.
