Tannenbusch Wildlife Park

The Tannenbusch Wildlife Park is a year-round opened zoo in Dormagen-Delhoven. The 20-hectare area was opened in 1958. The park is operated by the Dormagen City Bath and Transport Company.

The park houses about 200 animals of 25 species. Only native animals are kept. A large part of the animal inventory consists of red deer, fallow deer, and mouflons. Wild boars and Heck horses are also housed. In a pheasantry, there are golden pheasants, chickens, and capercaillies. Various waterfowl and storks inhabit the two ponds. Additionally, the ponds are home to some yellow-bellied slider turtles. Furthermore, ravens, owls, as well as white hornless and gray horned heath sheep are kept.
