The Motte Zoppesmur, also known as Motte Zobbesmur or Leysifen Castle, is an early to early medieval hill castle located in the Leichlingen district of Leysiefen, on the left bank of the Wupper River in the Bergisches Land. Only the floor defects and the remains of masonry have been preserved from the complex.
The ruins of the Motte are located near the farm of Leysiefen, 200 meters from the left bank of the Wupper, at the foot of the Wupperberg. The castle mound, with a base diameter of about 50 m and a height of about 8 m, was built on a slope down to the Wupper. A circular wall surrounded the castle hill, supported by a solid wall on the valley side.
