The inner-city shopping centre Limbecker Platz is located on the north-western outskirts of Essen's city centre. It is located between Limbecker Platz, Berliner Platz and Ostfeldstrasse. The first phase of construction was opened on 13 March 2008. The second and final phase was opened on 22 October 2009.
