Bleifeld is a district of Rösrath in the Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis. The locality has around 450 inhabitants. Bleifeld owes its name to the nearby mining on the Lüderich, where the Romans had already mined for lead near the Frühlingschacht.
A document from the year 1368 mentions a fief of the von Rennenberg family in Bleifeld on March 24, 1374. In 1828, there were 15 houses with 71 inhabitants in Bleifeld.
