Haus Balken is a manor house in the Marienbaum district of Xanten, Germany. It stands seven kilometres northwest of Xanten on the B57 to Kalkar and emerged from a fortified house built at the beginning of the 15th century to secure the border. Ruined in the Eighty Years' War and then rebuilt, it was sold at auction to Wilhelm van Essen, who had the building completely altered. The house has been a listed building since 1987 and is now the residence of the Underberg family. It is not open to the public.
