This mill is located in the hamlet of Mindergangelt at Schinvelder Straße 51, directly across the German-Dutch border on German territory. It is an undershot mill that was used both as an oil mill and as a flour mill.
The first mention of this mill is from around 1317. Traditionally a flour mill, it was also extended in the 19th century with an oil mill and a kollergang. In 1920 the oil mill was discontinued and in 1940 also the flour mill business. Since 2010, the mill has been used as a hotel-restaurant. The stones of the kollergang are still present at the mill house.
