Rathstock has been a district of the municipality of Alt Tucheband in the Märkisch-Oderland district of Brandenburg since December 31, 2001. Rathstock is a street village with originally two manor estates that are closely linked to the development of the village. A very typical feature of Rathstock are the residential buildings that originally belonged to the estates located on Lindenstraße and Sachsendorfer Straße.
Rathstock was first mentioned as Rotstok in a document dated June 6, 1354, which stated that Margrave Ludwig I of Brandenburg sold land there to the Frankfurt citizen Ebelin Wal.
