Preußnitz is a village in the district of Potsdam-Mittelmark, in Brandenburg, Germany. Together with Kuhlowitz, Preußnitz has around 270 inhabitants on an area of 13 square kilometres. From 1 July 1950, Preußnitz belonged to the municipality of Kuhlowitz, which was incorporated into Bad Belzig on 31 December 2002.
Preußnitz lies in the Belzig Vorfläming about five hundred metres south of Kuhlowitz and three kilometres southeast of Bad Belzig. The Bundesstraße 102 runs past the village, which is part of the German Avenue Road between Bad Belzig and Brandenburg an der Havel. Immediately at the north end of the village begins a new section of the main road, which bypasses Bad Belzig to the east and reconnects to the old route towards Lütte shortly before Schwanebeck.
