Menz is a municipality in the district of Oberhavel, in Brandenburg, Germany. Since 27 September 1998, it has been a district of the municipality of Stechlin.
Menz lies between Rheinsberg and Fürstenberg/Havel, directly on the Roofensee and borders the forest area of the Menzer Heide with the large Lake Stechlin. The Stechlin Nature Reserve and the Fürstenberg Forest and Lake Landscape Conservation Area directly border the village. The village of Brandenburg is located in the Stechlin-Ruppiner Land Nature Park in the northern part of the Oberhavel district, 80 kilometers north of Berlin.
