The Neue Mühle lock is a lock in the Dahme waterway. It is located in the town of Königs Wusterhausen in Brandenburg, Germany.
The waterways in the Mark Brandenburg were already important transport routes for bulk goods in the Middle Ages at the latest. Starting with the construction of mill dams, there was a conflict between river shipping, for whom the rivers were transport routes, and the interests of the mill operators, who used hydropower. In 1696 or 1739 at the latest, a first lock was built in the area of the New Mill. Its walls are still flanked by a boat tow today.
