The Kunersdorf bunker near Wriezen in the municipality of Bliesdorf in Brandenburg was part of the covered preparation of the GDR territory for a possible war and served as the main control center for the Ministry of National Defense. The bunker is located west of Kunersdorf. The construction consisted of two floors, in which both the radio technical and general facilities for operating the bunker were installed. In addition to the radio transmitters installed in the bunker, another eleven remote transmission stations in steel casings with post-typical superstructures, also referred to as "Sputniks," were built over an area of approximately 400 km² in the vicinity of Kunersdorf. The bunker was completed and put into operation in 1982.
It is listed under the designations Object 17/448, Radio Transmission Center, Frankfurt - 448 or ZSTM.
