Trebatsch, also known as the Leichhardt community, is a district of Tauche, which is made up of the former districts of Sabrodt, Sawall and Rocher. Trebatsch is located on the Spree in the southwest of the Oder-Spree district in Brandenburg, not far from the Schwielochsee. The district of Trebatsch with 616 inhabitants is located 12 kilometres southwest of the district town of Beeskow and about 90 kilometres southeast of Berlin.
The district of Sabrodt, located on the north side of the Spree, is well known, the birthplace of Ludwig Leichhardt, an explorer in Australia.
