Weifaer Height

It is located about 1 km northeast of the village of Weifa and belongs to the Lusatian Mountains. The Waldwasser and the Pilke spring from the mountain.
From the Weifa Heights, there is a panoramic view of the peaks of the Jizera Mountains, the Ještěd, and the Zittau Mountains with its highest elevation, the Lausche. On the Czech side, the Kreibitzer Bergland, the Pirsken, the Růžovský vrch, the Tanzplan, and finally the High Schneeberg are visible. The Valtenberg is also recognizable, and in good visibility, the elongated ridge of the Ore Mountains can also be seen.

The valley between the Weifa Heights and the opposing mountains near Wehrsdorf is referred to as Hölle (Hell). The word was derived from "Hohle," and due to the property named here, the streams from the mountains converge until they become the Waldwasser. Here, it is possible to ski down in winter. However, in summer during intense heat, one can really perceive the valley as "Hell."
Since the mountain slopes are very steeply inclined to the position of the sun, the sun still shines warmly here when it is already cool in the mountains.
