Borna-Heinersdorf is a northern district of Chemnitz. This district is home to the Crimmitschauer Wald, which originally belonged to the Altendorf district. The Röhrsdorfer Höhe, south of the motorway interchange "Chemnitz-Mitte," represents the northern edge of the Erzgebirgs basin.
Adjacent districts are Glösa-Draisdorf and Furth to the east, Schloßchemnitz and Altendorf to the south, Röhrsdorf to the west, and Wittgensdorf to the north.
