The Peterskopf cable car is a standard gauge funicular at Peterskopf in the Kellerwald located in the municipality of Edertal, Waldeck-Frankenberg district, North Hesse.
The Peterskopf cable car runs from the western end of the Affolderner See near Hemfurth, the southern district of the Edertal municipality, up to the Peterskopf, which rises to the south-southwest of the Eder Dam. It is the dam of the Edersee in the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park. Thus, the funicular leads to the upper reservoir of the Waldeck pumped storage power plant located on the mountain and its western neighboring mountain Ermerod, whose machinery is situated inside the Peterskopf mountain and west of the Affolderner See.
