The District Court of Neuhaus an der Oste was a court of ordinary jurisdiction in Neuhaus an der Oste.
After the revolution of 1848, jurisdiction was separated from administration in the Kingdom of Hanover and patrimonial jurisdiction was abolished.
The district court was then founded as the Royal Hanoverian District Court with the decree of 7 August 1852 concerning the formation of the district courts and lower administrative authorities.
It included the Amt of Neuhaus an der Oste.
The district court was subordinate to the Higher Court of Stade. With the annexation of Hanover by Prussia in 1866, it became a Prussian district court in the province of Hanover.
