The Bevergern lock is a lock on the Dortmund-Ems Canal, near the Wet Triangle. It is named after the former town of Bevergern, which has been a district of Hörstel in the district of Steinfurt since 1975.
The Bevergern lock is the southernmost structure of the so-called Rheine lock staircase. On this approximately 29-kilometre-long section of the canal, a height difference of almost 29 metres is overcome up to the Gleesen lock. On the waterway from Bevergern to Gleesen, four more locks have to be passed: Rodde, Altenrheine, Venhaus and Hesselte.
