The Villinger Cathedral is a cathedral in the center of the urban district Villingen in Villingen-Schwenningen. It is the Catholic main church Villingens. Originally it was dedicated to John the Baptist. In Villinger Münster is the Nägelinskreuz.
The landmark Villingens was begun in 1130 in Romanesque style and completed in Gothic 1284, but later expanded. The reason for the style change was the Villingen city fire of 1271, which had destroyed parts of the cathedral. Two 50 meter high towers were added in the 15th and 16th centuries.
