Langenfeld Airfield is a glider airfield located in the Wiescheid district of the city of Langenfeld. On weekends, the air operations are organized by the air sports group Erbslöh Langenfeld e.V., named after aviation pioneer Oskar Erbslöh.
The airfield was acquired in 1975 and opened in 1981 by the Luftsportgruppe Erbslöh Langenfeld e. V. The site has a workshop, a service station for AVGAS and two halls to accommodate aircraft. The airfield is located on the northwestern outskirts of Langenfeld, between Cologne and Düsseldorf. It borders the town of Solingen to the west, the town of Hilden to the north and the A3 to the east. The airfield can be reached by bus line 791, which runs from Langenfeld to Solingen.
