The Harthe landscape tunnel is a 300 m long structure of the A 17 and is located in the Eastern Ore Mountains in Saxony. It was built between 2004 and 2006.
The tunnel is located in the same-named forest area at an altitude of 600 m above sea level near the towns of Breitenau and Liebenau, above the old Dresden-Teplitz postal road. Together with the neighboring Nasenbachtal bridge and the border bridge over the Schönwalder Bach, it forms the German part of the border section to the Czech Republic on the federal motorway 17.
