Velbert Hauptbahnhof was the main railway station of the North Rhine-Westphalian town of Velbert and was located on the Oberdüssel–Kettwig railway. Along with Miltenberg Hauptbahnhof and Solingen Hauptbahnhof, Velbert Hauptbahnhof is one of the few disused main stations in Germany.
Velbert Hauptbahnhof was opened in 1925 under the name Velbert Ost, when the Oberdüssel–Kettwig railway was extended from Heiligenhaus to Essen-Kettwig. It was located on the corner of Bahnhofstraße and Güterstraße.
