The Justice High Rise was an administrative building in the Wuppertal district of Elberfeld. The building on the court island was the second tallest in the city and dominated the skyline of the Elberfeld center.
Next to the building of the district court constructed between 1848 and 1853 lies the district court built in 1900 on the Wupper island. Behind the district court was the 17-story Justice High Rise at the western end. It housed additional office spaces for the district court as well as the public prosecutor's office and was connected to the old district court building by an above-ground walkway. This walkway was jokingly called the "civil servant's career path." The high-rise was built in 1964 and was 65 meters tall.
