The Weißenfels City Hall is a sports and multipurpose hall in the Saxony-Anhalt city of Weißenfels. The hall is the home of the basketball team Mitteldeutscher Basketball Club, currently in the Basketball Bundesliga, and the floorball club UHC Sparkasse Weißenfels, multiple-time German champions of the men's division.
The city hall, inaugurated in June 2002, measures 73 × 51 m on the outside and can accommodate a maximum of 3,000 spectators, of which 2,300 can take seats on permanent installations. The building consists of a reinforced concrete solid structure with a steel roof support. The interior offers a playing area of 48 m in length and 33 m in width with a height of nine meters. This makes it possible to hold indoor sports such as handball, basketball, floorball, badminton, or volleyball in compliance with competition conditions. The construction costs of the hall amounted to 8.05 million euros, of which 2.16 million euros were funded through the special support program "Goldener Plan Ost."
