The former Reichsbank building is a listed commercial building located at Karl-Marx-Straße 53 in Eisenach, Thuringia.
The building was constructed in 1905 at the corner of Clemdastraße/Wörthstraße in the northern part of Eisenach's city center as a branch of the Reichsbank and was used as such until after 1945. Afterward, the building housed the district leadership of the SED in Eisenach. In the 1990s, the commercial building was still used for a time by an insurance company and the PDS. Currently, it stands empty and is being left to decay. Inside, remnants of the Reichsbank's vault systems and large parts of the interior design from the time of the SED district leadership have been preserved in their original state.
